The Weekend in Review...

Friday...

Double dated it up with Si-Fri and the boyfriend... we call him "LP" for Little Pumpkin... shhhh... he doesn't know that!

We met up at Guthrie's Tavern a fantastic place near our house... the concept behind Guthrie's is just fabulous... you walk in to people screaming "Yahtzee" and "Dude! It's your turn to roll".... and see tables strewn with boxes of take out Chinese food and deep dish pizza... people huddled around tables surrounding their favorite board game...

Sigh... Guthrie's... it's good fun... good fun... doesn't hurt that the Hubs and I dominated at Taboo!

Saturday...

So so so so nice! Loads of vegging out... The Hubs and I had great plans to go down to the Lighting of Michigan avenue, but decided to ditch the crowds and headed out to the nearest suburb instead for dinner and the latest Harry Potter movie... don't judge... I was being a supportive wife!

Sunday...

Sigh... Church... I just love our church! Then, Joanne's (for a little Christmas fabric).... and then home for back to back movies and a yummy dinner surrounded by candles on our cozy couch...

So... dinner wasn't quite like this... but maybe next weekend...

All together... a lovely weekend! So relaxing... which is just what we needed for the busy week ahead!

Look out Thanksgiving! I'm ready for ya!
