The Weekend in Review

The Hubs and I had a great and ridiculously full weekend...

Knowing everything was going to be busy, we took Friday night to chillax... 

Nothing better than homemade pizza and a little Psych...

Saturday morning we woke up early to run the Santa Hustle... a local 5k being held down the road from our home... it was... epic! 3,000 santas ran the race... there were reigndeer... and sleigh rides... cookies and beards... it was a jolly event and one we plan to make a tradition of from here on out!

 After all the holiday festiveness... I spent the afternoon running errands... one big trip was to JoAnne Fabrics... sigh... love that place...

Later that night the Hubs and I met up with the family to have dinner with a really close family friend, Auntie Maple... we met up at Rose Angelis... by far some of the best Italian food around!

 

 

By the time Sunday rolled around the Hubs and I were pooped... we've had some busy weeks around here lately... so we crossed some things off our list and took it easy... a baby shower in the afternoon... and then dinner with good friends at night... 

Phew! I'm pooped... hopefully this week will be more restful... but it's unlikely... I've got some big assignments due for school and another craft fair next Saturday... 'tis the season... fortunately all this busyness is fun stuff!
