Dietary Collection Agency: Vegan Giveaway

I collect diets.
I think what I love about it is the information and immersion into a different culture that you get to experience. When I was kosher, I learned how many of the biblical dietary laws were a way to keep germs at bay during a time before the knowledge of bacteria. When I was pescatarian I learned all about overfishing and the sustainability/ necessity of farmed fish. And when I was living on the "$5 a week" diet, I learned how gassy human beings get when they only eat beans and rice for three months.
Plants. Exciting!
Now that I'm making my foray into veganism (and Hannah's week (more like weak...jk but seriously) long "adventure" into vegetarianism) we wanted to kick off this new knowledge hunt with a little vegan treat giveaway!
Here's what's up for grabs:
Your very own
VEGAN SMORES KIT!
It includes-
vegan mallows (made in Hansies hometown of Chicago)
and teddy grahams (because they were the only thing close to traditional graham crackers that didn't have honey in them....free the bees)

To enter you must

Hey! I am so up for some vegan smores! I was a vegan for like 3 months right after high school. It sucked! It seems like all the foods had sooo much salt in them. Like more than McDs. It's better to just do raw foods. I guess I know a lot of 7th Day Adventists who are vegans, but they ate like crap. Nachos and cheese from 7-11 to candy bars, all vegan, but not eating actually veggies, lol! But I am juicing right now to get off of caffeine ( 10 days now!) and it's been great. Lots more energy and I feel a lot better over all.
Good luck with it. And watch out for your salt intake! :)

This week I am not happy about no meat, but I am juicing and trying to do only juice so I think that counts as a vegetarian :)

I posted it to Facebook. P.S. Since you are into non-conventional diets you should watch the movie on Netflix Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. Where I got my juicing kick from :)

I seriously need to get off caffeine but I get insanely cranky so I just cave. When I was vegan I ate a lot of granola, Nutter butters, Kix and Boca Burgers. Not to mention veggies. Even now I carry around a granola bar, a banana, or almonds at almost all times as a habit resulting from when I was vegan. I was always hungry. Oh yeah, Larabars are awesome too. I love the cashew ones. You never know when you'll end up eating dinner at a place that is not vegan friendly! Be prepared!

Ooh, I want to win. :) I'm off eggs and dairy mostly because my sissies are allergic and I cook and bake for them. I use flax seed meal instead of eggs. Works good, tastes good and is good for you too. :)

Love your blog by the way. You girls bust me up!

I've been a vegetarian for a total 5 years (took a short break in between years 2 & 3). I've thought about going vegan for a long time now, but I'm still not 100% sure if I'm ready for it or not.
