Oh, this week....

It's only Wednesday and this week has been ca-ca-ca-razy!

Monday was the worst and Tuesday wasn't much better at work...
Same old story, loads to do and no time to do it...

By the end of each day I was burnt out and cranky...
Fortunately, I have the sweetest friends around... on Monday these girls came over and helped cheer me up... We ate mint M&Ms (current obsession), watched Gilmore Girls and laughed until we cried.

Last night Freddo and I had two of our favorite people over for dinner. Then we all hopped in our car, grabbed some peps ho cho (peppermint hot chocolate) and went on a true Christmas adventure to see twinkle lights and the Home Alone house! How neat is that??

For such horrible days, the past two nights were an amazing trade off. Sometimes a girl just needs her friends... and this girl, has the best.

Hugs and Mint M&Ms,
Hans

**Don't forget! The Shop is open and all items are ready to ship same day! You can still get presents in time for Christmas!**

Going down in the books....

As one of the best weekends in a looooong time!

I love long weekends. I especially love long weekends when they include turkey trots, sweet friends, cranberry sauce, new babies, crafting galore, Christmas trees, fudge and movies... lots of movies.

*Sigh*

Freddo and I have a little tradition of getting up a bit early the day after Thanksgiving, going for a little run,  grabbing some Starbucks and going on a date to pick out our Christmas tree.

It's one of my most favorite days of the entire year.

Happy Christmas lovelies,

 Hannah

Lipstick, car rentals & the first thing she ever bought from a vending machine.

Um, my sisters.
Well,
they're kind of amazing.

They know just how to make a boring errand
(like trading out your car rental at the airport 45 minutes away)
into all sorts of fun.

Just bring a tube of lipstick to look lovely with...

And a little change to treat your youngest sis to her very first vending machine treat.

Ahhh seesters. They're kind of the best.

Twizzles,
Hansie

"Winter Must Be Cold For Those With No Warm Memories"...

Phew! What a whirlwind Christmas Break!

So sorry to have left you guys for a week and a half...

In all of the festive hub bub and family wonderfulness
Rach and I just couldn't find it in ourselves to blog...
We were having too much fun eating fudge, sipping coffee and squishing these cheeks!

Yikes!

Be prepared for Christmas overload over the next couple of days!

We missed you!

Happy New Years Lovelies!

Hansie (& Rachey)

Nunchucks and Ninjas.

While Hubs and I were on our anniversary trip this year in San Fransisco we stopped into one of the many quirky shops the city holds.
We perused the hello kitty erasers and miniature banana necklace charms until we stumbled upon this wonderfulness...

Ninja cookie cutters.

We finally had an opportunity to make the little buggers this weekend.

Not having made sugar cookies in ages (I know... the horrors!),
I found an easy recipe on pinterest and let the flour and Christmas loveliness ensue!

Conclusion,
Hubs and I rock it out at the rolling, flouring, cookie cutting and baking side of things.

However, the decorating side of things...
Well, we should probably just leave it to the ninjas.

Christmas Kick-off

Finally, Halloween is over (we celebrated on the 29th, Monday's a school night people) and
CHRISTMAS is here.
I know, I know…you're thinking, well hold it right there, what about Thanksgiving!
Well, what about it? Being thankful can't be a part of the season?
There are two main reasons Thanksgiving is around:
1. It provides a marking point for the beginning of the season of Christmas for all those without Christmas in their hearts all year round (especially in July).
2. It helps us get a jump on the marathon of eating that takes place for a solid month here in America. It's really important to get those initial 10 Ibs in November to help acclimate or else you run the risk of  toffee induced heart attacks.

This is how we kicked it off:
1. Cozy Christmas breakfast
2. Charlie Brown Christmas
3.Paper snowflakes, tutorial here.
4. Begin the great gift list for everyone in the family. I am going to make so many sub-par, overly involved, failed felt slippers for the whole Kinzler clan! They're going to love them!

Ahhh, Christmas...it makes me feel like my insides are coated in Biscoff spread.

Car pooling by myself.

Yesterday morning I drove to work alone.
Normally I drive to work with the Hubs... it's fun... we listen to random talk shows and sip coffee...

But- yesterday morning I drove to work alone...
What's a girl to do when she's alone in her carpool??

What is she to do when it's all gloom and doom and gray and cloudy on her drive to work???

rock. it. out.
That is what she is to do.

Don't judge.
There's Christmas in my heart people... You can't judge. It's against the rules of Christmas!

And for all you Christmas-in-July-ers out there (as if Mariah wasn't enough?!)...
Visit the EttaGrace Shop and
Use the coupon code "ChristmasinJuly" for 15% off your order + free shipping!

Hooray!!! Hooray!!! Joy to the world!!!

**Also... Since I'm so festive these days... I want to see you rock your favorite summer scarf for Clothes Stealers next week (Wednesday)! Make sure to link up then!

Loving you with all of my jolly old heart,
Hansy
